I came to Chicago from Milwaukee on August 16 to watch the sunset, and I stopped by My Doner to quickly grab some food before getting back on the road. I ordered a chicken dürüm with fries and an Adana wrap at exactly 7:10 PM. When I placed my order, I asked the employee at the counter how long it would take, and I was told it would be no more than 15 minutes. I agreed and sat down to wait. However, I didn’t receive my order until exactly 7:45 PM — 35 minutes later. The staff were also very disrespectful and acted as if they didn’t care about the customers at all. I came all the way from Milwaukee specifically to watch the sunset, and because my order took so long, I completely missed it. I honestly regret coming here. On top of the long wait and poor customer service, the food wasn’t even tasty and definitely wasn’t worth the wait. If you want to feel valued and respected as a customer, I absolutely do not recommend this place.
