Best Izakaya in Nara by far, price is reasonable. Food is great. No english menu just try simple english and he can do it for you. Chicken liver salt grilled is reccommend from me. Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

If you want delicious food prepared in front of you by a very generous and friendly chef / bar tender/ business owner this is the place. Namidou is small (8 seats) and it is bar seating, ensuring you will be friends with the other patrons before you leave. The owner speaks some English and he will help selecting food from the Japanese menu. This is a highly recommended izakaya. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
