Is not only a hotel in the middle of nowhere. There is billiard club amateurs and professionals. I love to play snooker with my friends in the NB. Although the bar and restaurant are good too. Service: 5

Avoid this place if possible. Our flight was diverted and I was stuck at the airport 10 hours but all they care about is money, they cancelled my reservation plus they charged me.

.....interesting after reading all the mixed reviews.....personally i went with low expectations ....and was pleasantly surprised, i would describe NB Hotel has budget friendly, clean, cheerful accommodation as far as how it looks, good for short stays, the beds were comfortable, with clean fresh linen (but I'm quite small compared to most people in this region who are 6feet tall, perhaps the beds are not so accommodating for them???) with generous buffet breakfast, excellent parking space and easy access to Riga CBD and the LU Botanical gardens....a few things to mention, of course as others have said it requires a good reno, we had to pay upfront rather than @ then end of our stay, which was unusual but i'm an Aussie traveller who is now accustomed to expect the unexpected, for the price in the Baltic region, I think the accommodation level it's what you would expect ~ : ) ....and Latvia's excellent summer weather made everything seem wunderbar anyways.....
