This is the greatest place near Chinatown - Penang. You can share nicely cooked satay, tartare and lamb's fry with your friends and spend a nice time here. Good orange wine is among the most often ordered drinks at this bar.
A number of guests consider the staff efficient. Service at NEP! is something one can call fast. From the guests' viewpoint, the atmosphere is exotic. Google users awarded this place 4.8.

I was really looking forward to try Nep! from the reviews and interesting concept. We even splurge and ordered the whole menu - not sure why half the group (4pax) couldn't do tasting menu while the other half (3 pax) shares the full menu. So we ended up ordering ala carte. Have asked that we split the bill since it's difficult to share as its a single line seats but they still keyed every item in one receipt. A few dishes were great but mostly was just a good concept not well executed. The octopus was too chewy, prawns were too sweet and no depth in flavour, nasi lemak kimbap had no taste and was not seasoned. Chicken wings were delicious but not every piece was evenly coated. We enjoyed the mandu in curry, pork skin. Desserts were exceptional! We wished we were told the portions size eg prawns came in 2 per plate but chicken wings came in 8 pcs per plate. The wait inbetween dishes were really long and it took a total of 3hours which kinda ruined the experience. We were all so tired by the end of it and just couldn't wait to leave.
