We went to get a few drinks and some dinner. The food was very well made and tasted delicious. I ordered the bistro burger and it was super good. My two drinks were delicious but that amaretto sour was pure perfection! I haven't had an amaretto sour this good in years! I enjoyed every drop and I will come back for more! Our waitress Keily was super sweet and attentive. We enjoyed our dinner and drinks and had a great time. Bartender was really nice and came to check on us a few times too. Price per person: $20–30 Vegetarian offerings: Not sure

My husband ordered a steak Alfredo pasta and it was so darn good. I didnt even get to sneak a picture. I ordered the sliders and as well the ingredients felt so fresh and good! The staff was friendly wonderful ladies! Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Sliders

McAllen, sadly, does not have a Speakeasy. We did find a new venue that has a little bit of a Speakeasy vibe. Nowhere Lounge serves great, affordably priced, and personalized cocktails, has good food, and is a great place to be able to have good conversation. The music is not played too loudly for conversation! The bartender, Pedro, made us fantastic drinks. We'll be back!
