I visited Nam 6 on their grand opening (Friday) and came back again today (Sunday). Both days were extremely busy. I waited about an hour and a half on opening day, which was expected, and aprox. the same for today as there was a lineup. I’ve seen reviews criticizing the hostess on grand opening day, but a lot of them leave out important context. She wasn’t rude or had a “bad” attitude—she was explaining that seating had to be paused so the kitchen could keep up with orders and maintain the quality of the food. Despite communicating this multiple times, people kept arguing with her and speaking to her disrespectfully... It’s understandable that she became more firm after repeating herself all day to those same customers. She was also constantly clearing tables to help seat more guests, even though that’s not typically part of a hostess’s job. When I came back today, I noticed they had put up a sign saying they wouldn’t tolerate abuse toward staff, which says a lot about what they dealt with on opening weekend. On the other hand, the food was worth the wait. The bun cha ha noi and the dual pho were both excellent—got them on grand opening and today (yes I lined up just to eat those two dishes again… they were just so good ) Overall, my experience both times was positive. Only downside is that servers can be a little slow, but it was extremely busy. Hopefully they can work on being more organized. They were still very polite and friendly. Also, interior is absolutely beautiful. Great for pictures. I’ll definitely be back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30

Want to get a tiny taste of Vietnam? This is definitely the spot to check out The Canh chua (Hot and Sour soup) was delicious and the fried rice was so crispy and good. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
