Absolutely best fried rice! I have been back twice a week to get the broccoli beef. I haven't tried anything else but I keep craving this dish. The broccoli is cooked perfectly, not overcooked and still some good crunch. The beef quality could be better but for the price how could it? I'd rather they charge a bit more and improve the meat. (the reason for the 4 star and not 5 review).

I sampled a friend's fried rice before I dined here for the first time a few days ago. My friend and I tried several dishes. The food was delicious! It was hot and fresh! The serving size was generous. The customer service was outstanding too! The prices were quite reasonable, too! We had a fabulous time; and dined on scrumptious food in a friendly and fun environment, with professional service. What more can one ask for? The place is "set off" from the street. You may miss it if you you're driving fast, and not looking for it, specifically. This place is worth finding! It is one of Memphis's hidden gems!

If you're lucky enough to live where Nam King is accessible, don't discredit this gem that has been around forever. I have been eating there for over 20 years, until I moved 600 miles away. They have a dish, Chicken Cantonese, that cannot be duplicated and cannot be beat. I have searched many different states and cities I've lived in, the internet, etc. for a place that makes this. It cannot be found. There are countless others who are searching for the same - Chicken Cantonese the way Nam King makes it. Man, oh man. I've even considered making a road trip just to have some. Enjoy!
