i was expecting great experience by view of the set up,but things aint proper how can fast food shop at 12:30 food aint ready the stuff is all over the place food isnt ready like rilly i was disappointed on how they operate their business

Nancy's restaurant has the worse service I have ever seen, You wait for the orders for extremely long time, constantly you get an app notification from MR D saying order delayed. These guys don't prioritize their online customers order, they operate as though they have zero experience in customer service. I don't see myself buying here, they must improve or they will lose lots of customers. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: R 300–400 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We went to Nancy’s on 25 October 2025 and placed an order for x3 Beef stew meals , the time was 10:40. We asked the lady that works at the till how long will it take, she said it will take 07 mins. We then went to spar to get a few things and went back to Nancy’s around 11:10 (that’s 30 mins later), the lady told us that the food wasn’t yet ready, and would be ready in an hour. When we confronted her about it, all she could do was apologise. She said she’d offer to put 3x salads instead of 2x salads with all the meals as an apology, we agreed and told her we’ll be back in an hour. We left the store and came back at 12:10, and the food STILL wasn’t ready, she said they’re still making the gravy and needed an extra 15 minutes. At 12:25, I went back to the till to ask about the food, she said it still wasn’t ready and rudely walked away to the back , seemingly like she was assisting ladies in the kitchen to dish up. She then came back with x2 plates - I asked if those were ours, she said no, ours are not yet ready and proceeded to give a customer who walked in 10mins ago his food. At this point, I started asking for a refund , she just kept saying your food will be ready now. I asked for a refund at least 5 times because its unacceptable that we had to wait over 2 hours for food we were told would be ready in 07 minutes, and seemingly being refused our refund for such terrible service. We got our order around 13:15. I asked her if she had put the three salads as promised, she agreed. When we got home: 1. All the plates had x2 salads, instead of the x3 as promised 2. The vegetables (carrots and potatoes) were undercooked 3. The beef stew was also undercooked because it was very chewy and tough , it didn’t help that most pieces were fatty with barely any meat. I have ordered from Nancy’s a few times before, and the service has never been that amazing because the lady working the till is not friendly and she often downplays how long it will take for your food to be ready, even when the shop isn’t busy. HOWEVER, I was able to overlook it because the food was mostly good. After yesterday’s terrible service, I will never set foot into that shop again. Also, I have before confronted the lady at the till about her unfriendliness and lying about the times it takes for food to be ready, she has apologised and her attitude did become slightly better towards me afterwards. However I feel I should not have had to resort to such to get better service. Spending R300 on such a terrible meal after waiting more than 2 hours was a waste of my time and my money. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
