I was Googling for spicy noodle soups on the way home and this place popped up. I took a risk and it was worth it. One of the best bun bo Hue that I have had in the DMV. It was appropriately flavored with the fermented shrimp paste, lemongrass, and chili. I did not have to add chili or any sauce. There was appropriate amount of meat from brisket, Vietnamese ham, blood pudding, and ham hock. I broke out a nice sweat like a good workout. My soul and taste buds are happy. Will come back to try their rice and Phnom Penh noodle soup. This is a Cambodian and Vietnamese run, and that noodle soup is popular in South Vietnam. Narin Noodle is a delicious and refreshing new addition to the Rock Creek shopping center dining options and community. Since they have opened, I have gotten takeout at least twice a week and just dined in for the first time last week. Their tofu banh mi and pork banh mi are my takeout favorites, so delicious and fresh! I have also greatly enjoyed their tofu pho with vegetables and vegetable broth, especially when dining in. The bok choy and broccoli make it the heartiest vegan pho I’ve had the pleasure of tasting in the DMV area. I am eager to try their lemongrass chicken and beef dishes, and I cannot wait for them to start offering the duck dishes that are listed on the menu but so far have not been available to order. If you have not been in yet, you are missing out! Narin Noodle is awesome!
