I stopped by Nation’s Giant Hamburgers & Great Pies and got a burger with a slice of pie. The burger was juicy, fresh, and cooked well, with plenty of flavor. The fries were crispy and paired perfectly with it. The pie was definitely the highlight—sweet, rich, and tasted homemade. The portions were generous, so I left full. Service was quick and friendly. Overall, it’s a great spot if you want a classic diner-style meal and a really good slice of pie. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I had a great experience at Nation’s in Berkeley! Cynthia provided outstanding customer service from the moment I walked in. She greeted me with a smile, took my order, and made sure to ask if I needed any condiments, naming all the options available. She was incredibly sweet, friendly, and attentive. The restaurant was also very clean and well-maintained. This location holds a special place in my heart because I used to come here all the time when I was in high school, and I even remember when it first opened. It was wonderful to come back more than 20 years later and still feel the same welcoming atmosphere and great service. Nation’s has always been one of my favorite breakfast spots, and Cynthia made this visit especially memorable. Thank you for keeping the excellent customer service alive all these years! My experience today at this particular nations was amazing!!! Overall the food was great. Socorro attended me very well and treated me and my family as if we were her family.
