My partner and I went for our anniversary dinner. The staff were super friendly. The starters were delicious and the main course as well. I’m glad we only ordered one side because it doesn’t say how big they are and it would have been awful to order more than one. The tuna tartare and monkfish were very delicious. The pickled onions on the fish were a bit overpowering so I couldn’t eat them in every bite or the fish and sauce flavors would be gone. The dessert was a disaster, it said it was a chocolate tart and it was more of a cold brownie on top of a cold tart crust, it felt like it all just came out of a fridge. And they were two separate things assembled and brought to the table, the raspberry marshmallows were incredible though. For an October evening the restaurant was very cold inside, maybe the staff felt warm and didn’t think of turning the heating on but for us coming from the cold outside it didn’t feel warm and cozy inside at any point. The art is cool but maybe not for the kind of restaurant, some of the paintings are quite violent and bizarre. The venue and food has a lot of potential. Food & service was absolutely spot on, these guys know their stuff. Waitress was brilliant, so patient answering our questions and talked us through every single dish on the specials board. I am from the coast & a real seafood lover, the fish was so fresh & top quality. Thank you Native. 10/10. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch
