Food was great. Only reason they dont get 5 stars is because they wrap there brisket and sides in thin plastic wrap as theyre waiting to be served. When I asked the staff why the stainless steel warmers for the sides were completely wrapped in plastic, they said it was to keep the warmers clean. That plastic is cooking underneath those charro beans and other sides. And wrapping the whole brisket in plastic and keeping it in the warmer is not good. The plastic being exposed to high heat will leech microplastics into the food. Switch to butcher paper!! and just have your staff clean the steel side warmers end of day. Problem solved. Now your serving cleaner food. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Mr. Nava went above and beyond with his service and everything was delicious. I was able to relax and enjoy my family with a delicious meal. I love supporting local businesses. Tank God for Navas BBQ in Hidalgo Texas. Food: 5 Service: 5
