Only went in for a pint after a canal cruise but got drawn in by the menu. Ordered the peri peri chicken and it was superb! From start to end, service and food was great and happy to give 5 stars and recommended. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Just enjoyed a fantastic meal here. I had the belly pork with crackling. It was sublime. My wife had rack of ribs that were beautifully cooked. Service was attentive, with staff who are clearly trying to make a positive impact. Lovely venue next to the canal. Great beer garden, bar and terrace. Good value for money. Lunchtime Friday - couldn’t understand why this place wasn’t packed. Highly recommend. Already looking forward to my next stop in Gnosall. Chef clearly knows what he is doing. Toilets are very well appointed and clean. Beer was well kept and delicious. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The Navigation Inn, is a very friendly local pub, with amazing home cooked food. It's set by the side of a canal and is the perfect way to eat and spend a few hours, watching the barges and the world go by. Highly recommend. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
