Staff are friendly and quick turnaround of food but that's all that was good. If we weren't so hungry I'd have taken it back. Tasteless and watery sauces, miserly portions of meat (4 small lumps of lamb in a bhuna) naan was awful. Genuinely the worst takeaway I've ever had. This was my first time going to Desi Spice in Desborough and I loved it. The atmosphere was great, probably because there weren't too many people in the restaurant. The staff were really and kept the table clean and clutter free very efficiently. Our food came out quickly and it was just soo good. Everything on our table looked so good I didn't want to eat it because it was just soo pretty. When I did eat it, it tasted as delicious as it looked. The prices of the dishes are very reasonable too. The restaurant itself doesn't sell alcohol but they are gracious enough to let you bring your own which is really good. I will most definitely be coming here again. Had a really lovely evening. Our first takeaway meal from Desi Spice. Won’t be the last. I have to be honest and say my husband’s sheek kebab was not as flavoursome as he expected, but everything else tasted wonderful. The food arrived piping hot, the salad was beautifully fresh and crisp and it all came at least 30 minutes earlier than we expected - which was good, as we were very hungry and polished off the lot!
