A must-visit hidden gem in Tainan! This is a small but impressively clean and well-designed one-woman operation. The owner is such a sweet lady who always greets you with a warm smile and even remembered us on our return visits. You can smell the freshly baking cream puffs from stalls away. The menu is simple and focused, and you can actually see the ovens at work. Each puff is filled to order with your choice of filling, and the dough itself is the best we’ve had in Taiwan—perfect consistency and not overly sweet (不甜膩). The custard is subtle and tasty, while the chocolate is a standout—dark, rich, and 'booming' with flavor. We went back multiple times during our stay. Truly a 5-star experience!
