We came here before the Jabbawockeez show. This restaurant is located in the MGM "the district". I had reservations for 4, we ordered the fried chicken that comes with 2 sides mac and cheese and collards. The collards are sweet, mac and cheese was good. The waiter told us they cook the chicken right then but it was pre cooked for sure. We also ordered catfish meal it was hot and fresh. The sweat tea was good $7 FYI THE waiter vibe was just off to me but he was ok. The atmosphere is like a bar so the game was playing. We also had to ask the hostess to clean our seats as thier were dirty. My husband and I went here twice and the food was so delicious. The staff was very friendly and the ambiance was really relaxing. We might come back a third time when they have the live entertainment. We gave this place a 5 star review. We had a show at MGM Grand on our last day in Vagas. I was looking through the MGM website for a restaurant nearby. I came across Nellie's Southern Kitchen and it looked interesting. This place reminded me of some southern restaurants back home. Everything that we had was made from scratch. We had homemade mashed potatoes, biscuits, sauté green beans, country fried steak and chicken n dumplings. The chicken n dumplings was loaded with chicken. Even though we were stuffed We had to make room for homemade cobbler. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Cobbler, Basket of Biscuits, Chicken and Dumplings, Chicken Fried Steak and Drunken Collard Greens Fried Cat Fish and Chips
