Had a lovely lunch for my birthday at the Nelson Inn, will definitely return and recommend to others, great food, plenty of it, all homemade (I had cheese and onion pie). Staff were friendly and helpful. First of all a great family. Friendly, welcoming and it is genuine. You can tell by the food they use great suppliers especially the meat. Fast efficent service but not rushed. You feel relaxed and well looked after. It's great as they sell Carling apple cider. If you have not been then take time and visit, you will not be dissapointed.

Perfect service we used the Nelson whilst staying on a little farm campsite next to the pub. The evening service and food was excellent it was so good we went back the next day for lunch after our grandsons passing out ceremony there was 6 of us and we were delayed everyone was so kind. Thank you all
