Specifically reviewing the online ordering experience. Nervous Charlie's bagels are great, and the in-store kiosk ordering for a bagel with cream cheese or butter is quick and smooth. I don't think online ordering is worth it. The Classic sandwich is solid, and their lunch sandwiches are excellent. That said, wait times are slightly outrageous. I put in an order for one bagel and a simple sandwich at 9:30am for a 10:45 pickup. When I arrived and checked in at 10:45, my order wasn't ready. I waited around for another 15 minutes before checking in again. Turns out my order was plated for dine in and just sitting there. They promptly wrapped it up for me and I asked whether the food would be cold. Without checking, the cashier offered a flat "No." The food was entirely cold when I got it home 3-4 minutes later (I live around the corner). Pretty mediocre customer service. The food was good as always, but it was cold. Tl;dr - order in store for great, fast bagels and cream cheese. Skip the sandwiches unless you have 90 mins to kill. The vegan and dairy free cream cheese options are a standout. Vegetarian options: Loads of flavors of cream cheese, both vegan and vegetarian available. Dietary restrictions: Vegan and dairy free options are good, and you have several choices.
