It will satisfy your desire for hot Desi food and a warm central location to enjoy it in. It would have been tastier with a bit more salt and hotter pappadums. A bit more friendliness won’t hirt either however the meats are Halal. Lol. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

This is a great place to stop by when you're just walking around. We shared some Chicken Tikka Masala with garlic Naan. It was very delicious! I really liked that there were some pieces of almonds in the sauce. The garlic Naan was nice and fluffy. The garlic flavour was perfect. Not too overpowering, but still powerful enough to notice! The service was also good, the server got our food and drinks to us as quickly as possible. The only thing i did not like was the toilets. They were very run-down and not that nice to use. We were kind of late to start looking for a place to have dinner after driving in from Thurso. Ness Mahal was open, so we popped in for a bite. They were extremely busy but our food still came out fast and fresh. It was delicious and exactly what I was looking for! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20
