Generally, a rather pleasant experience! The phone lines were really busy, and I couldn't get through in the end. So I drove round and ordered. The wait time was about 35 minutes from ordering, but then it was a Saturday evening, so to be expected somewhat. Order - Crispy Aromatic Lamb - 5/5 - Very tasty! Egg Fried Rice - 5/5 Plain Chow Mein - 5/5 Sweet and Sour Pork Balls - 4/5 Spring Roll - 3/5 - Quite thick batter. Roast Duck in Chinese Style - 1/5 - Bland! Not a very enjoyable texture either. Overall, an enjoyable meal. It wasn't too salty, which was a big plus for me. I'll go back, but with a slightly different order next time. Tried the New Friend Chinese take away for the first time and found the food to be really tasty, fresh and hot. We were very pleased with our kung po (we asked for the chicken to be battered) and sweet and sour chicken options. The staff were pleasant and friendly.
