Stoped for a quick lunch - not booked but they found us a table. Didn't find out til after ordering that they were only doing full roast dinners - not what we had planned, and would have moved on if we had been told before being seated. That being said, the roast was very good and the young lads serving and running the bar were very polite and helpful. Would stop here again. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: £20–30

We have been before and had a great experience with a burger and gluten-free scampi so we decided to visit again today and had a brilliant Sunday roast. The food was excellent, with loads of gluten-free options available, which is always a massive plus for us. The service was just as good. The gentleman who I’m assuming was the manager was really friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable, particularly when it came to the gluten-free options. The younger lad who served us was also a real credit to the team. He was friendly, attentive and genuinely seemed like he wanted to be there and give good service, rather than just treating it as a job. Really enjoyable visit all round and we’ll definitely be back again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £10–20 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes Dietary restrictions: Gluten free food is available. Our family held our mother's wake at the New Inn last Friday. The staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful. The food was lovely and all dietary needs were catered for. I can't thank Carol and her wonderful staff enough. Highly recommended.
