We reserved a table in advance and mainly went for the food, which was decent but nothing particularly special. The service was fine, the staff were friendly, and the pub itself was quiet and relaxed at the time. I imagine that if the pub were busier, parking could become quite difficult, especially for people travelling by car, as there doesn’t appear to be a dedicated car park. One of the main reasons we chose the place was that it’s dog friendly, and one of the staff kindly brought our dog a bowl of water, which was a nice touch. Price per person: £40–50 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We have been visiting the New Inn for several years now, on each of our biannual visits to Leeds. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly, the food (which we tend to try each visit) is well cooked and tasty. Meals are reasonably priced.The quiz nights are great fun, with a really lovely atmosphere. There is a great range of beers, very well kept. I wish we had a local pub like the New Inn!
