I almost hate to share, because this place is so good and a bit of a hidden gem. The meat portions are solid, our fairly picky order has almost always been right and the one time it wasn’t, they quickly resolved it and were so gracious. They use a much higher quality steak for that option and allow some great veggie options, like mushrooms and broccoli. The kitchen staff are also so lovely- truly worth a drive. We almost always pick up, and it’s historically quick and hot! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The only good hibachi that I’ve ever found here in Garner is this place! It is really more of a takeout type atmosphere but great tasting food, quick delivery, and very reasonable price. The portions that I have received have always been more than I expected at this price point But I normally do chicken or chicken and shrimp. Each time the amount of food was all I wanted and with a little bit left over. Again, taking the price point in consideration I think it is a great value. If you want a full plate of shrimp you should probably budget more and go to a restaurant like Kanki. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

This place use to be one of our favorite places to eat in this area because their portions complemented the pricing; however, things have totally changed. Now, you are paying more for less and the quality of the food has decreased. Spend your money elsewhere because they have a no refund policy. Why pay for something that you may not be in agreement to eat once it is done? My suggestion would be provide people with samples before they purchase anything from your menu if they request sampling. New Japan Express, step it up! I am aware that the owners have other locations that provide quality food that compliments pricing. Maybe your employees should visit those locations to see how it should be done. Overall, I don't recommend eating at this place. You can do better until they do better. Smh!!
