Little bit on the pricey side for food, but the beer is top notch and we've never had a bad brew here. I routinely recommend this place to people if they'd like to have a quality drink.

When we went apple picking in NW Indiana near Chicago (Oct. '24), we discovered New Oberpfalz Brewing in Griffith, IN. What a great brewery+pub with outdoor and indoor seating to observe Oktoberfest! German cuisine on their menu was very typical of Gasthausen (guest houses) in Bavaria, The variety of their beers, lagers, and ciders created unexpected options to choose from to pair with the menu. The town of Griffith around the brewery has specialty shops to visit and there's a massive Serbian Orthodox Church on the edge of town with striking architecture. We plan to return to explore Griffith and tour New Oberpfalz' brewery.
