this is a great restaurant for lunch and afternoon drinks, the place is very beautiful and the ambiance is relaxed. The food was great, o really recommend the Pasta Bayou! and the service was superb; great hospitality and great place overall. My Mom rarely eat out, but when she did, one of her favorite places was New Orleans Hamburger & Seafood Company in Metairie. Years ago, driving home to Memphis after Mom's funeral, we had lunch at that Metairie location. We were so impressed with their fried oyster sandwich and onion rings that my wife always associated a trip to NOLA with a visit to their Metairie location. Recently, we were in New Orleans and went to their St. Charles location. Unfortunately, because of environmental challenges, fried oysters were not on the menu. However, we did enjoy a Fried Seafood Platter with fries and onion rings that were EXCELLENT!!!
