Disappointing experience as a family. We chose New Town for its all-you-can-eat Asian menu, hoping it would be convenient with our 8-year-old. He only had a small bowl of soup and a few pieces of fritti—barely ate anything at all—but they still charged the full adult price for him. No children’s menu, no discount, no half-portion option, nothing. When we asked about it, the staff just said it’s the policy for everyone. For an 8-year-old who hardly touched food in an all-you-can-eat place, this felt unfair and greedy. The food was average (typical buffet quality), but the pricing ruined the meal and made us feel like they don’t welcome families with kids.
