Wow had a fantastic breakfast burrito and my sister had a Greek Kebapia salad....such nice and personal owners highly recommend stopping in because the view outside is gorgeous

I have been visiting Hessel and the surrounding areas my whole life. So when I visited for the first time in a few years I was a little disheartened to see the Hessel Grocery had gone away. However I was beyond happy with what has taken roots in its place.The Nibblelungen isn't like the surrounding businesses, it is better. Offering a very clean and organized storefront which supplies all the must-haves. This is not a walmart which can get you anything you dream up, but when you are staying in the area and want to celebrate with locally made brew, spirits, or food they have it.The food is what really kept me coming back throuout my stay. They offer delicious breakfast and lunch plates. I personally could eat the biscuits and gravy every morning. The dining area is fairly small, but again it's clean the service is fast and very friendly.Hessel is a small town, and you can't beat the friendly ownership or homemade plates of the local businesses. It's nice to see that what changes are being done around town are for the better. Some locals may be resistant to change, and talking to them you definitely get that feeling however when I think of visiting Hessel from now on I will think of the Nibblelungen and how great they made my trip.

It's very unfriendly and rude. The menu is exspensive and not very tasty.
