Went to No. 1 Pancake around 4 today after school and came across Nice Dumpling. So I decided to give it a try noting how cheap it seemed. Got a 6 for $5 pan fried bun and guy at the counter (glasses(?), middle-aged) told me it would take about 5 minutes so I was like “oh yeah no problem.” I stood next to the store where everyone else was waiting for my order and about 10 minutes later I started getting impatient. Throughout those 10 minutes, I had walked over and peeked at the store to see if my order was there - AND he had seen me peek over a few times. All that time there was an order on the counter, but I did not know it was mine. I just waited for mine to be called. So I get really impatient and walk up to him and ask about my order and that’s when I really lose my patience with him. This man tells me in the most smug, and irritating way “I have already called you but you did not hear.” He says it so calmly all the while like he was blaming ME and looking down on me. He does not even say sorry or anything, only continues standing there with that disgusting look that he was superior. Is that how you treat a customer? You open your shop only to SHOO customers away? Mind you, he DID see me look over + we were standing right in front of the store. Sorry I didn’t hear you? But you were just slouching behind the counter and talking with the cook at the back. Not to mention how awful those buns were. The bun was soggy and hard to bite - must’ve been because of it being steamed inside that styrofoam container for so long! (Not environment friendly either!) The pork was so stiff together it was so hard to bite! Never will I ever come again. I don’t understand how it’s even open. You should close it down now!
