Nickels has been a staple for Rio Rico for years now. It's truly a wonderful dining experience, the inside is decorated like a retro diner which fits the whole vibe very well. The menu is classic diner food with some local influences included. ALL of it is delicious and pretty much cooked to order. I had the grilled pastrami on sourdough with the seasoned fries and it was SO GOOD. The service is also awesome, the staff is incredibly friendly and they remember who you are and are very attentive. Before I forget do yourself a favor and get yourself a Malt or a Milkshake, you WILL NOT be disappointed! A pro tip that I learned from a server too is you can also take them TO GO! Cheers Nickel's! This had an old timey atmosphere and is clearly a local favorite. The place was full for lunch with good reason. Food was great and a wild selection form Orange chicken to Burritos to one of the best Burgers I have had. Home made curly fires were a hit. Will be back upon my next visit!
