I got into Kyoto late and needed to eat. Saw what was open near me and saw a stew looking dish so I was in. Showed up and ordered it, called Cassoulet. As she was cooking it up for to talking with her and either her patron or partner and through some struggle English and Google translate we had an amazing convo. She is such a dope person. The vibe was great. Then the food arrived and was 10/10. She made me a little mini bean soup too while I waited. Not sure if that was part of the order or she just hooked it up. We talked more while eating and they recommended me what they said was the best ramen so I’ll be going to that soon too. The store has some Google baseball memorabilia and a funny ass printed article that she doesn’t know where it’s from. I searched and couldn’t figure it out. If anyone does, message me somehow please. If you want delicious French and wine, you can't go wrong with [Wine Shokudo nico]! The beautiful chef has a nice personality and good cooking skills. Recently, the wine lineup has expanded, and we have everything from reasonably priced wines by the glass to well-known bottles. Also, for people who like alcohol, there are also snacks, and the frequency of stopping by has increased.
