"Avoid if you are a tourist—owner was aggressive to my son on his birthday" I am sharing this to warn other families and travelers. We went to Ristorante Nico to celebrate my son’s 12th birthday. While the food was absolutely amazing, the service and atmosphere were incredibly hostile and unwelcoming toward us as tourists. The most upsetting part of the evening was the owner’s behavior. While we were waiting for our table, the owner physically pushed my 12-year-old son. It was a shocking way to treat a child, especially on his birthday. Throughout the entire meal, we felt pressured and uncomfortable. The staff stared at us the whole time and rushed us through our courses as if they couldn't wait to get us out of there. I even tried to speak Italian to be respectful, but it made no difference; the staff remained cold and rude from start to finish. It is such a disappointment that a place with such great food treats its guests with such contempt. No matter how good the meal is, it isn't worth being physically pushed or made to feel unwelcome. I highly recommend tourists find somewhere else to eat where you and your children will be treated with respect. Price per person: €10–20 Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1
