We came for the dim sum happy hour. It was a limited menu and we tried all the items. Baos were cold, caviar bites had no flavour. Potstickers were salty. One pork belly bao only had the skin inside. The only two things tolerable was the spicy wontons and the desserts. Hostess was dismissive when we came in when we said we were here for the happy hour (as indicated by our reservation) m. Only two good things. Our server was friendly and attentive. The decor of the place was fun. It’s unfortunate with this terrible first impression. I would not return. Great Chinese food. Not a large menu but it covers almost everything. Dumpling , bao bun, fried rice, duck.. food is presented beautifully and taste delicious. Place is designed nicely. Totally a great experience. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Tonight was simply amazing at Night Rooster! From the Wagyu Potstickers to the Duck Fried Rice (INCREDIBLE) to the Ricotta Cheesecake with Matcha Caramel.... the food was awesome!! We managed to get a couple of pictures of half-eaten plates because we dug in before we could snap a photo! Chef Shirley Chung has an amazing thing going here -- amazing food (there was not a single bad thing we tried... everything was so good!)... amazing service (pleasant and very attentive staff)... amazing atmosphere (very elegant, moody, nice, and memorable)... Tonight was an amazing experience from start to finish and I would definitely recommend stopping in to give it a try!! You'll be glad you did! P.S. We were fortunate enough to be able to meet Chef Shirley Chung tonight. She was extremely nice, sweet, and personable. She came out to our table and talked about her favorite dishes with us and was kind enough to take a photo with us. I am pretty sure there was a smile on her face the entire time! She just emitted poise and sunshine! It was the perfect ending to a wonderful evening. We can't wait to come back to Night Rooster!
