Not only should Remedios Circle be visited, but also Nihonbashi Tei. The wonderful flavours of the Japanese cuisine attract many visitors. Try good fish, tempura and sashimi.
It's our first time to try Nihonbashi Tei, after a culture trip in the National Museum. We ordered 2 Tempura sets, Ebi Fry and Mixed Tempura, a big bowl of Ankake Ramen with Onigiri, and Sashimi Teishiyoku. We enjoyed the sashimi best! We'd love to come back!
I always see Nihonbashi Tei food posts on Instagram. I never thought I'd eat here because I'm coming from a family who only knows mall restaurants and not those places that you make "dayo" just to eat. Good thing I met my boyfriend, a non-blogger foodie, who turns out to be an avid fan of this
restaurant. Now we go here and the two other branches in Makati that they've become our 2nd, 3rd, and 4th homes.
I don't usually take photos of food, but this is one of the exceptions because it had been a long-time dream to eat here. (These were from my first Nihon experience--4 months ago.)
I give a 4.5 because their Iced Coffee is konti langgg.
Everything was perfect besides that! :)
The price of food is very affordable and the taste is very close to genuine Japanese cuisine. However, they can work on customer service since the waiters aren't knowledgeable with the menu.
