We ordered carbonara and were served pasta with a bland cream sauce and ham instead. Absolutely disappointing and honestly embarrassing, especially considering that the restaurant advertises itself as having the best pasta. This was nowhere near an authentic carbonara and certainly not what we expected. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

We were recommended Niki’s by some other British tourists we were chatting to. It didn’t disappoint! The handmade pasta and delicious pizza was everything we’d hoped. The waitresses were attentive and spoke brilliant English. Given the chance, we’d definitely go back. You pay for the location, which is good, but there are other good seatings in town. Charging 25€ for a pasta or risotto is like starring down a gun barrel, not fun. Nothing wrong with the food per se, but you would expect a lot at these prices. Grilled chicken breast for 18€, was like a plate served at home in an emergency. 3 thin pieces of totally dry chicken and scoop of fries. No decoration, no sauce and no vegetables. It might be a family owned place, I’m sure it’s hard work, but on other restaurants the waiters wears uniforms and often give you a shoot of liquor(slivovitz) on the way out. Summary, I have eaten cheaper and way better in a great seatings in the very proximity. One mitigating matter is bringing your kids is embraced here.
