Very impressed with the culinary experience at Nikkei’s! We ordered gyozas as an appetizer and I ordered the salmon as my main. The gyozas were fried and extra crunchy on the top. The salmon was in a lovely bed of cassava purée, topped with spiraled vegetables. Service and presentation were exceptional. I will be thinking about this meal for a while! If you are visiting Playa Coco, this is a MUST visit!!! I have had top tier Omakase and this place beats it. Their tuna, mahi, mahi, shrimp, muscles, clams, octopus, and squid are caught in Costa Rica and their flavors are so fresh and delicious. Our server Roy made our experience pleasant and tended to our allergies/needs. He gave great recommendations that made our whole dining experience memorable. My boyfriend and I got the tuna sashimi, ceviche, creamy seafood rice, and grilled octopus ( can't recommend this enough!!) The food is amazing I had the grilled octopus, ceviche, and tuna sashimi. All of the fish was very fresh. Also, the grilled octopus was some of the best I’ve had.
