Enjoyed a wonderful course meal (including an all-you-can-drink option) centered around Japanese BBQ & meat sushi. The course starts with a trio appetizer, giving you a hint of what is to come. Then comes the horse meat sashimi where you can come compare filet vs sirloin. Then comes the Japanese BBQ, including a US vs Japan cow tongue comparison as well as various rare pieces of beef. The restaurant will cook the meat for you if you want to enjoy some perfection! Then comes the highlight of the evening, meat sushi. The restaurant prepares various types of meat in an order that guarantees satisfaction. Finally dessert to finish off the wonderful course. Fair warning, most of the meat served here was rare or near raw, so it may not be for everyone, but if you like meat, twas an experience that was very worth it! Crowd Size: Very High (Reservation Recommended) Payment Method: Credit Card Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥7,000–8,000

If you're a meat lover in Tachikawa, Nikunosuke is an absolute must-visit! This cozy, stylish spot specializes in Wagyu beef with a creative twist. The restaurant is intimate and small, which adds to the great atmosphere, but it’s very popular—especially on Friday nights when it’s completely packed. Make sure to book a table in advance! The star of the show is definitely the "Ganban-yaki" (hot stone grilling). You get to sear premium cuts of beef on a thick, heated volcanic stone plate right at your table. The sizzle and the aroma are incredible! Another showstopper is the Meat Sushi. The staff sears the sushi with a blowtorch right in front of you—the perfect "Instagrammable" moment and the taste is buttery-smooth! Even the small appetizers and "tsumami" (snacks) are high-quality and beautifully presented. Every dish is a visual delight, and the flavors are top-tier.
