Tried Nimman Thai Cuisine on a whim while we were in the area, and it turned out not so bad. We ordered a mix of dishes, including their Pad Thai Hor Kai (which they list as a Top 10 in Toronto), wrapped in a fried egg with chicken and jumbo shrimp. It was enjoyable and well-balanced, with a slight creaminess from the coconut milk. It may not be the best pad thai imo, but still a good version that’s worth trying. The cashew nut chicken had a nice portion and was cooked well, though it lacked the pungent aroma and the umami depth from shrimp paste that I usually expect from this dish. The deep-fried tofu came with their roasted ground peanut sauce, which was really well done and added a lot to the dish. We also tried the Yakupom, a refreshing mix of pomegranate, Yakult, and rosemary that added a light, tangy contrast to the meal. Service was warm, friendly, and attentive throughout. Overall, a satisfying neighbourhood spot with a few highlights, even if not everything stood out. Meal type: Dinner Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
