I went to Sukiyaki Nishimura for dinner on my trip to Shiga. I made a reservation and visited on Saturday at 5pm. Apparently it's fully booked on Saturdays and Sundays. This is a system where you can also reserve the menu at the time of reservation. Apparently both shabu-shabu and sukiyaki are no good I ordered ``Specially Selected Omi Beef Sukiyaki Small Size (3,850 yen)'' and ``Kami Specially Selected Omi Beef Sukiyaki Large Size (6,160 yen)''. The sukiyaki is the most visually appealing meat you've ever seen, and they use Hime beef from Omi beef. The normal special selection also had beautiful marbling, and to be honest, the visuals were no different from the upper special selection. I ate branded beef sukiyaki for the first time, and it was so delicious! ️The oil in the meat is too sweet. But it's refreshing, not stiff. The hostess cooks everything, so it feels very special. But it might be a little awkward for people who are shy (?) lol To finish off the meal, we also had ramen (200 yen). The landlady was very attentive and told me to add plenty of pepper, but the pepper was so strong that I couldn't eat it, which I was sorry about lol. The total cost was 12,000 yen, which was an unprecedented price for the two of us who drank a lot of alcohol. If you're in the city, you'll probably get more than 10,000 yen per person, so it was a really good shop! ️ When I was leaving, the owner greeted me and said "Ookini" and saw me off, which made me feel good! ️It was a shop that I would like to go to again.
