Come here for tasty clam chowder, fried oysters and broth if you are hungry. Being at this restaurant, taste good apple pie, bread pudding and gâteau. This place is famous for delicious beer or good wine. Take your chance to taste great coffee.

Tasty BBQ in a unique location on the bay. Definitely worth the drive to this destination dive. And while you're there, enjoy the Burning Man art by Michael Christian, Kate Raudenbusch et al. It's a little slice of playa on the waterfront out past Point Richmond.

Great food with perfect prices and a unique location make Nobilis Restaurant a destination for brunch or lunch. I ended up finding this place through Yelp as I prepared for a Saturday lunch with my mom, as we were headed to a special nursery in Richmond. You definitely need to know where you are going for this place, but it isn't all that hard to find (just out of the way). Some highlights on the journey in: over-engineered bike path, chevron infrastructure, unique views of bridge from the north, an industrial park with old timey smokestack, brick castle, boarded up military housing, east brother lighthouse, a rod and gun club and a shoreline park! Going out on the pier was cool with gardens and houseboats. Plus one star for location. Once you get to the marina, the restaurant is on the left and pretty easy to find with a large sign. Loved all the plants outside and the outside seating would be perfect most of the summer and fall. We sat at the counter (although you order in front) and enjoyed the wide array of options from breakfast to lunch and some specials. All the staff were very friendly. My eggs were perfectly scrambled and the potatoes were bomb. Bacon was not extra crispy as desired. Mom's avocado toast (who's the millennial here?) was spot on with crunchy sourdough and fresh avo halves on each side. Despite the winding, pitted road to get there, and the long, strange journey, Nobilis is a perfect spot to lounge and enjoy the bay with good food.
