Food was great and very reasonable. I would like to highlight the chicken avocado sandwich. It was out of this world in the half-and-half french fries go for it. You won’t regret it. Highly recommended if you’re in downtown Iowa city.

My favorite sandwich place. Parking: Limited metered spots. Ramp ~2 blocks away. Wheelchair accessibility: Restroom is on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator. The entryway is a bit narrow and has two doors. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Sweet Potato Fries, Sandwich, Aioli Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options: Paid street parking, Paid parking garage

I never post reviews but I was extremely impressed with the helpful service at Nodo Downtown! I was having a hard time ordering ahead on CHOMP for next day delivery for a work lunch that needed to be scheduled in advance for a lunch meeting. Called to ask if there was another way they could help. Unfortunately, I didn't catch anyone's name, but the person who answered the phone was very helpful and tried on his own to work through the problem with me. When he couldn't he got his manager who said he would call CHOMP and see what was going on and call me back. Within 10 minutes I had a call back from the manager telling me thank you for bringing the problem up with him because there were some settings wrong. I was just so so impressed by the quickness and handling of the situation as well as the response back to me. THANK YOU NODO STAFF/MANAGEMENT for being stand up people. This was a small act of kindness but it really made my day.
