My favorite meal during my entire 2-week Japan trip! The owner/chef was super friendly and brought me a delicious white wine that paired perfectly with the meal. The wagyu beef was some of the best I’ve ever had. Also incredibly affordable given the high quality and careful attention. Genuinely creative dishes made with fresh ingredients by a chef who clearly loves his craft. I will be back!

An unforgettable midnight dining experience in Kyoto! We stumbled upon NOKuRu, a true hidden gem in Kyoto, and it turned out to be one of the best experiences of our lives! The chef personally prepared an 8-course meal for us — each dish felt like a story on its own, beautifully crafted and full of flavor. We started our dinner at midnight and finished around 2AM, yet every moment was warm, personal, and magical. It felt like time stopped for a while as we savored each course. A once-in-a-lifetime dining experience we’ll never forget! Price per person: ¥8,000–9,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
