Great Food, Great Service, Great Atmosphere. My wife and I decided to stop here for brunch on our way from New Orleans and we were pleasantly surprised with the food and service. My wife had the chicken and waffles and I had the crab cakes with poached eggs. My wife had a mimosa. She said the mimosa was excellent. The chicken and waffles must have been good because this is the first time in a while my wife ate everything on her plate. The crab cakes were delicious. They were served on toast with spinach with the poached egg on top. Accompanied with hash brown casserole and cheese grits. It is delicious as it sounds. The hostess was friendly and attentive to us and all individuals. Midway through our meal, my wife noticed that chefs were preparing meals in area outside of the kitchen. You could heard them talking "chef talk" and you could smell the aroma of the food being prepared. This added a different level to the overall experience.
