Holts pub (so always good beer) and they've Trailblazer Stout which is 10x better than Guinness. If you're ever put off because of Sholver's 'old reputation' don't be, it's not 1995 anymore! Everybody is super friendly and if you go in alone, somebody will waffle to you, it's a great pub. Dog friendly too. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I attended a fun day here which my sister in law organised, the pub was a great size holding stalls inside and out with the lovely big green outside for the bouncy castles and trampolines, lots of room for kids to run around, there are plenty of benches for people to sit outside and watch their children too, if anyone wanted to book an even at the northgate I would definitely recommend it the staff are always happy and friendly too
