Very scenic chill out bistro, with gorgeous view of palm trees swaying along blue ocean waves. Recommended to order a glass of cool pale green Mojito make the day memorable. Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We hadn’t eaten all day, so we were really hungry and looking for a good place — that’s how we ended up at Nossa. The restaurant itself looks lovely with a beautiful view, but right from the start, on our way to wash our hands, we bumped into a cactus placed directly along the walkway. It’s unclear why something so simple isn’t arranged properly, though we didn’t let that affect our expectations. We ordered quite a few dishes because we were hungry, so I’ll go through them one by one and then summarize the overall experience. Chicken wings – It would’ve been better to walk to the nearest KFC. Cheaper and honestly much tastier. Caesar salad – Not terrible, but after the first bite the only thing that came to mind was that the dressing tasted like McDonald’s salad dressing. Beef risotto – The meat served on top was embarrassing to present as food. The risotto itself was not terrible, but definitely not good either. Duck dish – Undercooked, lacked seasoning, and the sauce had almost no flavor. And the so-called highlight of the meal, the dessert – crème brûlée with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The crème brûlée had the texture of jelly and absolutely no flavor. Luckily there was a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top — the same kind you can get at 7-Eleven — otherwise the dish would have been a complete disaster. The prices are absolutely not justified given the quality of the dishes. We left the restaurant, and within less than a minute I already felt sick. The ride back to the hotel was a challenge in itself just trying to hold on. And the saddest part is that I’m writing this review while currently throwing everything up in the bathroom.
