Traditional Izakaya, very friendly to foreigners. If you do not speak Japanese it's ok. The entire staff is welcoming. All sorts of various local menu items to choose from. I had a delicious authentic wood fired fresh mackerel with diakon. I also had the most perfectly cooked chicken soup with a uniquely delicious soup broth that I've never tasted before. Light and full of flavor. They serve dozens of different sakes and beers. I really enjoyed the local atmosphere away from the main tourist areas. I suspect the menu changes often as it is had written along with I believe are daily seasonal specials. If your wanting authentic Japanese this is the place. Love this izakaya diner. They serve food cooked with love and pride in their skills. Many regular come for a drink and some food more for the company and the home made miso. Incredible feeling when you taste this mastery in cuisine. Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
