My wife and I went here on our first night in Quito, mainly because it was just across the road from our hotel. The place is tastefully decorated and the ambience was relaxing and calm. We ordered a few dishes, one of which was the sushi rolls with foie gras. Presentation of food was very good and the waiter introduced them when they serve them so you know which one is which. However, one of the waiters, an older gentleman, introduced one of the dishes as "Foi" for the foie gras. Maybe a little more training is needed. Our main waiter was very gracious and kept apologising for his English which he spoke fairly well. Better than our Spanish and we should be the one learning their language anyway . This is a higher end restaurant so expect to pay a bit more but it is worth it. Price per person: $30–35 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Nubori is what happens to sushi when you take it to the next level. I love sushi, but many places lack the knowledge to take it up a notch and add some modern takes on it. I wanted something that was simply delicious and I found it today. My server was Johnnie and he was knowledgeable and very attentive. I would go there for 3 meals a day. Thank you all so much. Food 10/10. Service 10/10. You will not find better. Price per person: $15–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
