Number 1 Chinese Restaurant is pretty near Louis Armstrong House Museum. All the guests adore the menu that offers gorgeous Chinese cuisine at this restaurant. Degust perfectly cooked chicken and good prawns at Number 1 Chinese Restaurant.
Food delivery is a big benefit of this place. See with your own eyes that the service is fast.

In a pinch (my flight was cancelled and was staying at the Fairfield Inn about 4 blocks away) this place works -- it's a hole in the wall with a see through kitchen and a guy who's English isn't great, but was helpful if you're patient. I ordered the chicken and broccoli with shrimp fried rice and an egg roll-- the food was made to order and was Panda Express level good. Big portions and it's cash only, which is doable when the bill was $12.50, or a coffee and muffin in Manhattan. Ask for extra hot sauce to level things up!

We going to get right into this you already know what kind of spot this is. Food comes in a plastic bag with a brown bag inside of it, napkins fork, knife, duck sauce soy sauce included. Now on the food I got the vegetable lo mien with white rice, this is one of my go to meals at this spot been coming here for years & it always hits food is super consistent. Regular hood nyc chinese spot! Get anything you want on the menu your it's good. The place is clean, the staff is calm, food is ready in about 5-10 minutes can't beat it. Definitely recommend!

NUMBER 1 CHINESE RESTAURANT FOR THE WORST ATTITUDE Called to order for pick-up Asked for veggie chow fun & add chicken Lady & the phone did not understand so i repeat & she says "what kind of chicken" I stated again, perplexed thinking maybe she still doesn't understand me "no, I want an order of veggie chow fun with chicken" lady: now yelling "WHAT KIND OF CHICKEN?!" me: "what do you mean what kind of chicken? CHICKEN! COOKED! VEGGIE CHOW FUN ADD CHICKEN" lady: "CALL BACK WHEN YOU KNOW WHAT YOU WANT. IM BUSY." AND THE B**** HUNG UP ON ME ZERO STARS
