Worst food ever! When I called, the guy couldn't care less that I was dissatisfied. I ordered beef mei fun with shrimp added. The mei fun tasted like nothing but oil. There was no oyster sauce, soy sauce,or sesame oil sauce. Also, there wasn't even any curry in it. If you're looking for bad food from rude employees, in a very unsafe area, then this would be the place to go. There are way to many other Chinese restaurants in this area to waste your money here. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free parking lot Parking: Very unsafe area. Many cars stolen from parking lot and a few car jacking also.

Taylor’s Standard Stopped by No. 1 Kitchen on Lorain Ave (Westown Square, between W.105th & W.110th) just to try something different. I ordered the spicy vegetable mei fun, and I gotta say—it surprised me. The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked right. The spice had a nice little kick without being too much. It was so good I actually came back the following weekend and ordered the same thing—and it was just as good. It’s one of those spots you might pass by, but it’s definitely worth stopping in if you’re in the area. Food: Fresh, flavorful, well-cooked. Service: Quick and straightforward. Atmosphere: Simple, takeout-style spot. Would I come back? Yes — earned a spot on my list No hype—just real talk, real experience. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
