Numbers is a classic mainstay club that upholds a friendly and lively alternative club atmosphere almost 50 years running now. The vibe of Numbers is alot more groovy and laid-back rather than a high-energy or hyper fun vibes, compared to a place like Barbarella. The dancefloor and club is spacious with areas such as a back patio and upstairs bar to take a break and chill. The club always has good turnout, never being dead, with the dancefloor being well populated with club participants actually dancing rather than say, standing around. People there are nice, respectful, and overall very friendly and inclusive. Drinks are affordable, and cover is typically between 10-15 dollars. Definitely recommend for first-time club go-ers or just as a more chill club experience. The only complaint I and many others have had with Numbers is that the DJ's track lineup, with all due respect, is so boring. When you're on the dancefloor, songs can go on and on and you're often stuck waiting forever for the next track to start only for it to be no different from the last. It absolutely would not hurt to play a popular song more often for a change of pace rather than nothing but obscure underground tracks. PLEASE just give us a change in pace, it's all we ask for. Honestly this place is always 99% great but the bearded security guy’s apparently just on a power trip tonight. Don’t take off your wristband (even if you’ve closed out for the night) unless you want to get escorted out and spoken to like you’re a nine year old. To his credit he eventually gave me back my beer and let me back in after I showed my ID to the girl at the front, but like…how about we handle this like normal humans? Do you have to act like the world’s biggest meathead? The actual disrespect was insane. Does this one incident really warrant a 1* overall review? I don’t know but it definitely left a bad taste in my mouth and I won’t be back soon. I’ll probably delete this review soon because again this place is great and it isn’t entirely fair, but this dude just completely ruined a good night and I think management should know how their employees are speaking to their customers.
