After trying 5 other African restaurants in Paris, I finally found my favorite! Food/drinks: Excellent, as in clean the plate excellent. I heartily recommend the theiboudienne (Senegalese national dish of red rice, veggies, and fish). I also have good reviews on: fried plantain, mafé (peanut sauce with rice), and the local juices: pineapple ginger juice (someone at the table ordered 3 times, it was so good), bissap (hibiscus juice), and - my favorite - bouille (a thick beige drink made from the fruit of baobab). Service: On my first visit, I had some difficulty getting there, so half our party arrived after the kitchen closed. They kept our food hot for us and didn't rush us there at all. We ended up chatting with the chef and tasting some rums before leaving too! Ambiance: Cute! It's has a classy yet homey feel, African art for sale, and a garden vibe. I can only imagine what it would be like with other people! It was so good, I had to go again (and it didn't disappoint)! If they can maintain this experience, they have a customer for life in me! Highly recommended.

After seeing this as a recommendation from the owner of Little Africa in Paris, I had really  high expectations. The restaurant didn't really meet any of my expectations. The food was mundane at best, the vibe (with exception of the food and music) was anything but "African" and I felt the  food options were very few. Not really impressed.
